The State Bar of California’s Business Law Section appointed Asa S. Hami as the Co-Vice Chair of the Insolvency Law Committee (ILC). As Co-Vice Chair, among other tasks and duties, Mr. Hami will work with the other ILC officers to establish and implement the ILC’s goals for the year. In this capacity, together with the other ILC Co-Vice Chair, Mr. Hami also will present the annual report to the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section and will serve as the ILC’s liaison to other State Bar standing committees.
The State Bar of California’s Business Law Section is dedicated to educating its members on all issues pertaining to business law and serves as a form of communication for its members and the general public, California legislature, regulatory agencies and other industry-related groups.
